What permissions are needed, and how do I enable them?

Currently, when creating an account and logging into Curi, no additional permissions are required. During the account setup process, you will be asked to provide consent to the app’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. These agreements are essential as they outline how your data will be collected, used, protected, and shared. By consenting to these policies, you acknowledge that Curi will have access to data such as your device information, email, location, and more while using the app. For more details on the types of data Curi collects and how it is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

You can manage permissions for email and device notifications directly from the app’s Settings page. To access this, simply click on the “More” button located on the far left of the bottom navigation bar from the Curi Home. This will direct you to the More page, where you will find additional options. From there, select the “Settings” option to open the settings page, where you can easily manage your notification preferences by selecting the Notifications tab.

If any future updates or features require additional permissions, such as access to mobile resources or your location, these will be clearly communicated to you via pop-up notifications when necessary. You will have the option to enable or disable these permissions as needed, and you can manage them through your device’s settings for Curi.

How do I finalize my setup and start using the app?

To finalize your setup and begin using the app, ensure that you’ve successfully created an account in Curi and logged in successfully.

The account setup process begins when Curi prompts you to enter your email and organization’s name, and give your consent to the app’s privacy policy and terms and conditions. If your email has been registered by your organization with Curi, a verification code will be sent to your email. After entering the verification code, you can create a new password and confirm it. Then, you will be directed to the login page.

Once you log in to Curi, you will be guided through the onboarding process, which includes watching the tutorial video and following the guided walkthrough to familiarize yourself with the app’s core features.

Once you’ve gained an understanding of Curi’s key features, navigation, and usage, you’re all set to start using the app. You will be directed to the Curi home screen, which serves as the launching point of the app. From there, you can interact with Curi AI, access AI-generated magic buttons, navigate to other pages, and explore various features of the app. Feel free to explore and interact with the features, and don’t hesitate to revisit the tutorial or contact support if needed. The app is now fully ready for you to use, and you can begin taking full advantage of its features and services.

If you prefer to skip the onboarding steps after logging in, you will land directly on the Curi Home and can start exploring the app on your own. However, please note that your account setup will only be considered complete once you’ve successfully logged into the app. Without logging in, you won’t be able to access the app’s features. Logging in is required to fully experience the app.

If, after logging in, you wish to update your profile or modify account details such as your email, password, or name, you can easily do so through the Settings page. To access the Settings page, tap the three-dot More button on the bottom navigation bar to navigate to the More page and select Settings option. By default, you’ll land on the Account tab, where you can update personal details, change your password, or delete your account if needed, giving you full control over your account settings.

Can I go back to previous steps if I make a mistake?

Yes, you can go back to previous steps if you make a mistake or accidentally skip any steps during onboarding. You have the flexibility to go back and redo any steps you’ve completed, so you can move through the process at your own pace and set everything up correctly. If you need to revisit a step or make changes, simply use the “back” option located in the top-left corner of the onboarding screens. Additionally, if you prefer not to go through certain steps, you can skip them by clicking the “skip” button located in the top-right corner of the page.

To return to the Rooms Page, simply tap the back arrow at the top-left corner of the room.

It’s important to note that when you are inside a room, the bottom navigation bar will not be visible. To navigate elsewhere, you will need to leave the room first by using the back arrow, it will bring you back to the Rooms page.

More (Right): This button directs you to the More Page, where you can access additional features such as Dashboard, Goals, Notes, Settings, Invitations, and Get App Support. This page also includes the Log Out option.

The Get App Support option opens an overlay with a chat interface, allowing you to interact with Curi AI for any app-related support. To navigate back to the More Page from any other page accessed through it, simply tap the back arrow at the top-left corner of the respective page.

At the top of the Curi Home Screen, you will find the Curi logo along with two important icons on the right:

The yellow lightning-shaped icon located to the left of the notification icon is the Panic Button. It opens an overlay for panic service where you can get immediate assistance by chatting with Curi AI. Whenever you feel triggered or panicked while interacting with someone or if something distresses you, you can simply tap the button to chat with Curi in an isolated and safe environment. Curi AI will help to calm you down through relaxation exercises and reassuring dialogues. The Panic Button is accessible from the main sections of the app and can be found at the top right of these pages to ensure that immediate support is always available to you.

The Notification Icon is located next to the Panic Button at the top right corner of the Curi Home, directs you to the Notifications Page, where you can check important notifications and reminders.

AI-Generated Magic Buttons

Curi Home features AI-generated Magic Buttons with suggested actions just above the input field. The topmost button, marked with a star icon, allows you to refresh suggested actions. Each time you tap this button, new suggested actions appear, usually based on your latest actions or preferences, making it easy to perform tasks with a single click.

Tapping any of the suggested action buttons will direct you to the relevant section or prompt Curi AI to assist. You can also command Curi AI from the Home Page to navigate you to specific sections.
