Why does the user have to exit the room to archive the room?

Archiving a room signifies that the room has served its purpose and is being made inactive. To complete this process, the admin or owner of the room must exit the room before archiving. This step is necessary because, once archived, the room becomes inaccessible to all participants, and no further communication or activity can occur within it. Exiting the room confirms the admin’s decision to close the room.

If users do not intend to archive but just need a break, they can leave the room temporarily by going to Curi Home and return to the room whenever they are ready. However, archiving is a final action to close the room and requires exiting as part of this process. This step ensures that the room has served its purpose and that all activity within it has concluded before being archived.
