How to archive and unarchive a specific room from a list of rooms?

If you, as the admin or owner of a room, no longer wish to participate in it or if its purpose of the room has been fulfilled, you can archive it to keep your workspace organized and free of clutter. Before archiving, you must first exit the room as part of the process. Once archived, no further participation or conversation will be possible unless the room is unarchived. However, you will still be able to view past conversations.

You can archive a room in several ways:

From the Rooms Page:

Navigate to the Rooms page, where all your active rooms are displayed as room cards. Find the room that you want to archive and swipe its room card from right to left. A red Archive icon will appear upon swiping, tap on the icon to archive .

From Inside the Room:

Navigate to the room you want to archive from the Rooms page by clicking on the “Go to Room” button on the room card. Then, tap on the three-dot contextual menu in the upper-right corner of the room to open an overlay with various room actions, and select the “Archive Room” option at the bottom of the overlay.

Regardless of the method you choose to archive a room,  Curi will prompt you to confirm your decision to exit and archive the room before proceeding. Once archived, the room will be moved to the archived section and will no longer be visible directly on the Rooms page.

To view archived rooms on the Rooms page along with other active rooms, open the filter overlay next to the search bar and select the “Archived Rooms” filter. Archived rooms will be marked with an archive icon next to the room’s header. While you can still access these rooms to review past conversations, you will not be able to participate in them unless the room is unarchived.

You can unarchive the archived room from the Rooms page by swiping the room card from right to left. An unarchive button will appear upon swiping, tap on it to unarchive the room. Once unarchived, the room will be moved back to the active Rooms list, allowing you to resume the conversation again.
