I have a passion for implementing technological advancements to transform mass communication, particularly in order to drive broad positive impact. My career spans broadcast, cable, streaming media, tech, non-profits, and now Curi™. I’m also a father of three and it’s during this stage of life that I’m called to contribute to their future by somehow addressing the increased conflict and subsequent gridlock in our society. Thus, in 2024 Curi™ was born.
This latest chapter began back in 2020 when I faced a pivotal moment: divisions within our organization had eroded trust and connection and threatened our long-standing values. In my leadership role, I was called to act and through intentional design and facilitation, I helped us rediscover our shared purpose. It was a success, but not one that could scale.
Having always worked at the intersections of people and technology, I viewed the rapid rise of generative AI as an opportunity to tackle one of the greatest challenges of our time: how to resolve conflict at scale. After initial research we’re excited to be focused on resolving workplace conflict in a way that builds skills, strengthens relationships, and keeps people focused on meaningful work.

Over three decades of leading people, I’ve seen it all: firing an entire staff, navigating acquisitions with no regard for people, enduring disengaged employees sticking around for a paycheck, and witnessing unjust oustings. In every case, the common thread was clear—people were being overlooked.
I hit a turning point. I wanted to help people avoid many of the traps I had fallen into. I realized at the core of almost every issue was a hidden or mismanaged conflict. Too-often, covered up by a set of values that encouraged people to be, “too nice.”
That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to addressing conflict and resilience head-on by improving how we communicate, connect and bounce back at work.
I believe that when people invoke curiosity, learn essential communication skills and are in a supportive environment, they can handle whatever challenge comes their way so they can get back to the work that matters.
