Can other participants also view the notes linked to the room? How can I access my notes?

No, the notes created by users in any room are visible only to the user who made them. When a user wishes to create a note by either holding the message, selecting the “Add Note” feature from the room’s contextual menu, or simply commanding Curi AI, they will be directed to a Private Side of the Room (if not already there), ensuring that the process remains confidential and visible only to the user who created the note.

Users can access the notes they created depending on where they are in the app:

Accessing Notes within a Specific Room

To view notes created for a specific room, users can navigate to the room and tap the three-dot contextual menu located at the upper-right corner of the room. This will open a menu with various room actions. From the options available, users can select “My Notes (This Room)”, which will open an overlay listing all the notes created in that room. The notes will be displayed with attached context (such as a message, purpose, or agreement) if applicable. Each note card will show the note’s creation date and time, along with Edit and Delete buttons for users to manage their notes.

Accessing All Notes Created by You on Curi

There is a dedicated Notes page for users to manage and review all the notes they’ve created, whether from room conversations with Curi AI or with others. To access the Notes page, navigate to the More page by pressing the More button in the app’s bottom navigation bar. Then, select the “Notes” option. The Notes page contains all the notes created by the user, displayed as note cards, with the context such as message, purpose or agreements (if available) attached to each note. The note cards contain Edit and Delete options for managing notes. Additionally, there is a search bar and filter option at the top of the Notes page, allowing users to search for specific notes and filter them based on whether they were made in room with Curi or with others.

The notes created by users are only visible to them. The other user(s) whose comments or messages were used to create the notes will not be notified. This feature is intended for personal use and convenience, allowing users to note important details and easily access them in the future.
