Curi AI plays an active role in assisting users with goal creation by guiding them through the process of setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound) goals. While users have the option to create goals manually, Curi AI provides an interactive and structured approach to help users refine and organize their goals effectively.
As users initiate the goal creation process through Curi Home, the Goals page, or from inside a room, an “Add Goal” overlay a dedicated chat interface with Curi AI solely for creating goals will open. In this interface, Curi AI prompts users with targeted questions and offers guidance to shape their goal effectively. Users will always have the option for manual goal creation if they find it more relevant. If not, they can chat with Curi AI and provide descriptions for the goal. Curi will gather the necessary information and assist in creating a goal for the user. The key areas where Curi AI assists include:
- Goal Description: Curi AI first asks users to describe their goal, ensuring they clearly define what they want to achieve.
- Specificity and Measurability: As users provide details, Curi AI encourages them to make the goal specific and measurable, prompting them to think about the concrete outcomes they want to achieve.
- Actionable Steps: The AI then asks about the actions required to achieve the goal and its outcomes, helping users break it down into practical steps.
- Feasibility and Relevance: To ensure feasibility, Curi AI guides users in assessing the achievability of the goal and its relevance to their current priorities.
- Time Constraint: Finally, Curi AI prompts users to set a time constraint or deadline, ensuring the goal remains actionable within a specific period.
Once the necessary details are provided, Curi AI compiles the information into a structured goal summary. The AI automatically generates a title, refines the goal description, organizes the measurable outcomes, lists action items for the outcomes based on user-provided details, and sets the time constraints. Users can then review and edit the summary to ensure it reflects their intent. They can edit the descriptions, add measurable outcomes and action items, or modify the data themselves, or simply chat with Curi AI to make changes before saving the goal.
In addition to creating new goals, Curi AI also assists in modifying existing goals. If users want to make changes, Curi AI facilitates the editing process by adjusting the goal based on user input or allowing them to update descriptions themselves.
